Sharing his anecdotes from his 50 years in the TV industry, working with some of the most iconic figures from Barbara Streisand, Danny Kaye, Gene Kelly, Julie Andrews, Roger Moore, Simon Cowell and Jim Henson’s The Muppets to name but a few, this promises to be a hugely entertaining and insightful evening.
The UK version of the show, which was presented by Dale Winton, ran for seven series between 1993 and 2001 on ITV, before being revived for a one off-series in 2007.
The supermarket-based show sees teams answering questions and puzzles based on the products and merchandise of supermarkets around the world. It culminates in an all-or-nothing trolley dash through the aisles, as the finalists hunt down items hidden among the supermarket shelves to win a big cash prize.
Stripped and Stranded (w/t) is a four-part series starring a different set of relatives each episode. Deserted on an island, the dysfunctional households have only each other for support and face daily survival challenges as well as battling their existing familial tensions. Expect high-octane drama and fiery conflict as each family work to overcome their issues and ultimately survive their time in the wild.
The programme is made by Naked Entertainment, and is one of two brand new titles to come out of the fledgling prodco.
