Channel 5 has commissioned a new reality survival show featuring troubled families marooned on a tropical island

Stripped and Stranded (w/t) is a four-part series starring a different set of relatives each episode. Deserted on an island, the dysfunctional households have only each other for support and face daily survival challenges as well as battling their existing familial tensions. Expect high-octane drama and fiery conflict as each family work to overcome their issues and ultimately survive their time in the wild.

The programme is made by Naked Entertainment, and is one of two brand new titles to come out of the fledgling prodco.

Another reality show, 100%Hotter for 5STAR, sees contestants nominated by their friends to receive a complete 'make-under' to remove their monstrous make-up and fashion faux pas. A team of style experts have 24 hours to transform their would-be models with a bespoke look, tailored to their personality, and reveal the beauty beneath the blush.

The series aired earlier this year and became the channel's highest rated original programme since 2011.

"Each [show] is simple, original, and sticky." Said Naked Entertainment CEO Simon Andreae, "they’re deeply transformative for the participants and we believe will be hugely relatable to audiences all round the world."
