The 90 minute film will see Flintoff team up once more with South Shore, who produces the Field of Dreams series that sees the former England cricketer recruit disadvantaged Preston boys for a new team.

While recording a segment for Top Gear in December 2022, Flintoff suffered a near-fatal crash that threw the second series into doubt. But after a year of recovery, he returned to filming in late 2023 for the programme to air the following summer.

By smashing the class ceiling of such an elitist sport, the former England captain is steadily teaching the boys to dream of better futures for themselves, and the rest of us the transformative power of some gentle encouragement.
