Dynamo to bury himself alive in December live special

The programme will culminate in the performer – real name Steven Frayne – burying his own grave, where he will lay his creation to rest.

In the run-up to the finale, Dynamo will go on a mental health journey. At rock bottom, the magician struggles with loss of identity, but manages to find the strength to move onto the next chapter of his life and career.

Along the way, he reaches out to such famous faces as Cara Delevingne, Tyson Fury, Demi Lovato, and Steven Bartlett. Each conversation gets Dynamo closer to the empowerment necessary to let go of the past.

Eight sessions during the day featured some of TV’s biggest names as well as its rising talent. More than 30 broadcasters, indies and industry bodies took stands in the exhibition hall, offering the inside track to the telly hopefuls. TV magician Dynamo and ITV News presenter Charlene White also made appearances during the day.

Some 900 tickets were sold for the event, which was held in Islington, London on 1 February – with another 400 on the waiting list.
