Synopis:
With AVOD growing rapidly as a key, non-subscription revenue model, how are broadcasters taking advantage?

This session is designed to be highly practical; our knowledgeable panel will help freelancers to recognise bullying when they see it and understand the steps they can take to raise their concerns without risking their jobs and careers. And it will examine what production companies could and should be doing to stamp out bullying.

The BBC Apprentice Hub is a new initiative, which will be opening for applications soon. The pilot scheme will be launching in the West Midlands, the region in the UK with the youngest population and a diverse talent pool. The BBC’s Apprentice Hub will grow skills in the creative sector by placing apprentices with local small and medium sized employers. It will provide a vocational training programme with a formal qualification at the end, accredited by an awarding body, giving the successful candidates a flexible approach to learning and getting work experience.
