Heartstopper will return on Thursday 3 August for its highly anticipated second series.
The coming-of-age romantic comedy stars Kit Connor (Rocketman) and Joe Locke (Agatha: Coven of Chaos) as Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring, teenage boys who begin an unlikely high school friendship before it blossoms into love.
Series two will see a school trip to Paris, stressful exams, and the all-important prom.
Whilst Nick and Charlie find out what it means to be in a public relationship, Tara (Corinna Brown) and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell) will face new unpredicted challenges. Tao (William Gao) and Elle (Yasmin Finney) will explore whether they could ever be more than just friends, after exchanging some lingering glances in series one.
Netflix’s behind the scenes teaser features members of the cast giving a sneak peak into “what is new in season two, with Connor promising “a different vibe” to the first series.
Heartstopper series two will arrive on Netflix on Thursday 3 August 2023.
