Series two of The Pact is coming to the BBC with a brand-new storyline and characters.
The new series promises to be full of twists and turns as a new group of characters find their lives turned upside down as they face a battle with loyalty, faith and morality.
Christine Rees (Rakie Ayola) is a social worker who along with her children, Megan (Mali Ann Rees), Will (Lloyd Everitt) and Jamie (Aaron Anthony), is dealing with the loss of her son and their brother Liam.
The family’s life is thrown into turmoil when an out-of-town stranger Connor (Jordan Wilks) claims to be a previously unknown Rees sibling and looks strangely like Liam.
Unsure if they should treat Connor as a potential intruder or a new addition to the family, the siblings decide to meet him after much debate.
A panicked Christie realises her carefully constructed hold over her family is at risk and is desperate to keep Connor away, denying his claims of any potential relation.
However, Connor is integrating himself into the lives of the people he claims to be his siblings, gaining their trust and straining their relationship with Christine.
Christine is hiding a long-buried secret that Connor is determined to uncover, but who is telling the truth?
Series two of The Pact will air on BBC One on Monday 24 October at 9pm.
