Lewis Goodall can’t sit still.
Sky News’ Political Correspondent has been on the road in the #LewisLorry travelling to towns and cities up and down the country, talking to voters on the ground.
He took a break from the road to speak to us about his sense of election from outside the London bubble.
Goodall sorts the facts from the fantasy amid reports of narrowing polls, a swing to the Conservatives in safe Labour seats like Tony Blair’s former constituency Sedgefield, and questions over the future of UKIP.
2017 will be a “realigning” election, he predicts, and one which will reshape our political landscape for a generation to come.
