UKTV has announced a new entertainment documentary, Deadliest Pests Down Under, to air on Dave in Spring 2016.

Deadliest Pests Down Under follows the trial and tribulations of nine British pest controllers as they are moved thousands of miles to Australia, where the critters are bigger, scarier and have many more teeth.

"Imagine Rodney Trotter meeting Crocodile Dundee, and it should give you an idea of the comedy potential this trailblazing new series has” says Popkorn TV’s Rory Wheeler.

Australia’s pest problem is out of control, as pest numbers continue to climb, the country’s pest controllers have called in the cavalry.

Away from the mice, moles and midges, the hapless Brits will come face to face with one-tonne killer crocs, lethal funnel-web spiders and venomous snakes.

Each Brit will be paired with one of Australia’s toughest pest controllers, real life Crocodile Dundee, Barefoot Bushman Rob, Col, who is quite comfortable juggling killer funnel-web spiders, and Kylie who likes to call herself a “snake Yoda.”

UKTV’s Victoria Summer said “Deadliest Pests Down Under has all the comedic hallmarks of a series that is sure to entertain Dave Viewers.”
