Channel 4 has announced Julia Davis (Nighty Night), David Avery (We Are Lady Parts) and Charlie Cooper (This Country) will star in the third series of the RTS-Award nominated comedy series Stath Lets Flat’s third series.
Written and created by Jamie Demetriou, the third series will see Demetriou reprise his role as Stath, the hapless lettings agent, alongside the returning cast of Natasia Demetriou (What We Do In The Shadows) as Sophie, Kiell Smith-Bynoe (Ghosts) as Dean, Katy Wix (The Windsors) as Carole, Ellie White (The Other One) as Katia, Al Roberts (Feel Good) as Al and Christos Stergioglou (Dogtooth) as Stath’s father, Vasos.
The new series will see Davis appear in one episode as Kris, Carole’s snobbish and belittling older sister. Avery will star as Stath’s flashy barber cousin, Bambos, and Cooper will play Gregory, a rival letting agent who runs an agency called Live Love Lets.
Guest stars Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso), David Mumeni (Dead Pixels) and Tom Stourton (Siblings) will also return for the third series.
The upcoming series will pick up from the shocking events of series two, with Stath facing the challenge of rescuing the family business, Michael & Eagle, and his relationship with Katia (White), despite expecting his first child with Carole (Wix).
Jamie Demetriou commented: “Times are the worst they have been in living memory, but fear not, a sitcom about a lettings agency is back for a third series! All the characters (bar a few who had availability issues) are back and saying stuff aaaall over again! Get ready to hear what they say! Listen closely and you might even hear a thing or two from some new celebrated guest stars. Did somebody say…. the whole England football team?? No, it’ll be comedy actors!"
The third series of Stath Lets Flats will air on Channel 4 later this year.
