Channel 4 has announced that Stath Lets Flats will return for series three.
Written and led by Jamie Demetriou (Fleabag) as Stath, the RTS-Award nominated comedy follows the incompetent lettings agent as he struggles to conquer London’s competitive rental market.
Natasha Demetriou (What We Do In The Shadows) will be reprising her role as Stath’s sister Sophie, with Al Roberts (King Gary), Christos Stergioglou (Dogtooth), Katy Wix (Ghosts), Kiell Smith-Bynoe (Ghosts) and Ellie White (The Other One) also returning for series three.
The six-part series will follow on from the dramatic ending of series two, with Stath having to rescue his relationship with Katia (Ellie White) while expecting his first child by Carole (Katy Wix), and also keeping his family’s business Michael & Eagle afloat.
Jamie Demetriou said: “This is lovely. I love Channel 4. Thanks so much for having us back for a series three. Sorry the title is still hard to say. Love Jamie Demetriou from Stalph Les Flav”.
Channel 4’s Head of Comedy, Fiona McDermott, added: “Stath’s irrepressible and bewildering approach to life, love and business is just what the nation needs right now. We’re so proud of Jamie and the team’s multiple award-success and delighted that we can celebrate this roster of incredible domestic talent by backing another series”.
