ITV2 will air new reality thriller Killer Camp this Halloween.
The five-part series follows eleven unsuspecting members of the public as they are taken to what they assume is an 80s inspired Summer Camp, only to discover that there is an undercover murderer within the group.
To be crowned champions of Killer Camp and walk away with the prize money, the innocent competitors must survive the murderous efforts of the camp killer - resulting in elimination from the game - and figure out who among them is guilty.
Meanwhile, the secret murderer will try to steal the campers’ cash while remaining undetected. As the nights pass, members of the camp will be bumped off in increasingly imaginative and hilarious ways.
Presenting the show as ‘Camp Counsellor’ will be comedian Bobby Mair. He commented: “Being a presenter, Camp Counsellor and facilitator of murder is the job I was born to do! I really hope ITV2 viewers have as much fun watching this show as much as I had getting to make it.”
Killer Camp will be rooted in 80s horror nostalgia, harking back to the iconic slasher movies of the decade.
Series editor James Donkin said: “We hope the boxset-bingeing twists, alongside the overarching ‘whodunnit’ narrative will hook viewers in and keep them locked, until the big reveal on Halloween night.”
The series will take place across five nights in the lead up to Halloween.
