Entries are now open for the RTS Television Journalism Awards 2024, in partnership with Wolftech and Dataminr.
Celebrating creativity and excellence in journalism for both news and current affairs, the awards ceremony will take place on 28th February 2024 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
For 2024, Adrian Wells, Managing Director of ENEX, will Chair the RTS Television Journalism Awards for the first time. Additionally, the RTS has appointed two new jury Chairs: David Holdsworth, the former Controller of BBC English Regions, and Vikki Cook, Director, Content Media Policy at Ofcom.
For the next edition of the awards, the Young Talent of the Year category has been renamed to Emerging Talent of the Year.
Adrian Wells, Chair of the RTS Television Journalism Awards, said: “The RTS Television Journalism Awards set a benchmark for the industry. The RTS is proud to showcase the amazing work of British based media organisations which consistently demonstrate the quality and diversity of their content and we look forward to receiving submissions and celebrating another year of outstanding reporting.’’
All entries must have first transmitted on any platform in the UK or made available through a website between 16th November 2022 and 15th November 2023. The closing date for entries is Friday 1st December 2023. For more information, please visit the awards page.
In common with other RTS awards, entrants should bear in mind when selecting their entries that judges are asked to ensure that these awards reflect diversity within the industry and within wider society.
