New superhero series Superman & Lois is coming to BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
The 15-part series will see Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf) star as world-famous superhero Superman and Elizabeth Tulloch (Grimm) as super talented journalist Lois Lane.
Despite having faced off against evil supervillains, terrifying monsters and alien invaders, Lane and Kent are about to come up against their biggest challenge yet: raising two teenage sons.
Trying to handle the stress, pressure and difficulty of being a working parent in modern society, the challenge is made even harder with concerns that their sons Jonathan (Jordan Elsass, Little Fires Everywhere) and Jordan (Alex Garfin, New Amsterdam) will inherit their father’s Kryptonian superpowers.
After deciding to return to Smallville to handle the Kent family business, the couple re-enter the lives of Kent’s first love Lana Lang-Cushing (Emmanuelle Chriqui, Entrourage), who is a local loan officer, and her Fire Chief husband Kyle Cushing (Eric Valdez, Graceland).
The Kent sons are reacquainted with the Cushing’s rebellious teenage daughter Sarah (Inde Navarette, 13 Reasons Why).
The life of a superhero is never dull, especially when Lane’s father General Samuel Lane (Dylan Walsh, Nip/Tuck) is insistent on Superman destroying any villain at a moment’s notice.
Kent and Lane’s life in the idyllic Smallville is set to become even more turbulent when both a secretive stranger (Wolé Parks, All American) and self-made mogul Morgan Edge (Adam Rayner, Mistresses) enter their lives.
Superman & Lois will air on BBC One on Saturday 4 December, with all episodes available on BBC iPlayer.
