Set 10,000 years before the events of the film, which saw the rise of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet), the series follows two sisters from House Harkonnen, Valya and Tula, played by Emily Watson and Olivia Williams.

With a distinguished career meeting many high security patients, Dr Robertson is rarely shocked, but the psychiatrist is caught off guard by Connie as the pair develop a dangerously close relationship.
Throughout their sessions, Connie begins to anticipate and exploit her doctor’s deepest insecurities.
Too Close follows Dr Emma Robinson (Emily Watson), a forensic psychiatrist who is assigned to assess Connie, a patient accused of a terrible crime that she cannot remember committing.
Robinson attempts to determine if Connie is fit to stand trial and learns of a complicated relationship between Connie and her beautiful best friend Ness, who appears to have a strong influence on her mental condition.
