World War Two

ITV commissions new documentary with Captain Tom Moore

Captain Tom, a former British Army Officer, recently completed 100 laps of his garden using his walking frame in aid of pandemic relief, raising more than £28 million for NHS Charities Together.

As one of the million Allied troops that took part in the Burma campaign, Captain Tom will be sharing memories of his service to ensure his fellow forgotten heroes are remembered on the day.

Having undertaken officer training in 1940 at age 20, Captain Tom first served in India before reaching Burma to recapture the colony.
