The White Princess is a sequel to Emmy-nominated series The White Queen, and stars Jodie Comer (Doctor Foster), Suki Waterhouse (The Bad Batch) and Michelle Fairley (Game of Thrones).

The eight-part historical epic picks up as the War of the Roses comes to an end and a fragile peace has been established. The victor, Henry Tudor – soon to be Henry VII - is promised the hand of Elizabeth (Comer) to cement the future of the country.

Elizabeth and her sister, Cecily of York (Waterhouse), engage in a battle of wills with Henry Tudor’s mother, as each side battles to earn his trust and discredit the other.

However rumours begin that the long-lost Prince Richard is alive, forcing Elizabeth to choose between her husband, and her blood relative and the rightful King.

The White Princess picks up the story after The White Queen, where King Richard III was killed in a final battle with the Tudor forces. The White Queen initially showed on the BBC, and now has a new home on Drama.

The show will begin on Drama on UKTV with a double bill on Saturday 18 November at 9pm.
