In addition you'll get the overview of the hottest sessions and timely topics featured in the Conference which this year had more than 90 sessions, 5 Streams, and 400+ Speakers.

Kate Bulkley - Media Journalist and Commentator
An award-winning business journalist both on camera and in print, Kate contributes to national UK newspapers and also writes regularly for specialist publications, including DTVE, Prospect Magazine and Broadcast. An American, Kate has lived and worked in London since 1990, first as International Editor for pay TV title Cable World magazine; then as Media Editor for European Business News, a 24-hour, pan-European channel, owned by Dow Jones & Co., where she created and co-presented the award-winning, daily half-hour media show called Media Report. From 1998 to 2001, Kate was on-screen Media and Telecommunications Editor at CNBC Europe, a co-venture between NBC and Dow Jones & Co. Kate began her journalism career at CNN in Washington, DC and subsequently worked in radio and in print in Colorado where she was senior reporter at The Denver Business Journal. Kate has a master's degree in international economics and politics from the Paul Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (part of Johns Hopkins University in Maryland), and an undergraduate degree in Modern European Studies from Smith College, Northampton, Massachusetts.
Sinead Greenaway Chief Technology and Operations Officer, UKTV
Sinead Greenaway has extensive industry experience in technology, business strategy and broadcast operations, and is a member of UKTV's Executive Leadership Team. As Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTOO), Sinead is responsible for all technical and operational aspects of UKTV, including the roll-out of digital services under the network's fast-growing TV on demand service, UKTV Play. Since joining UKTV in March 2015, Sinead has been responsible for leading a successful technology refresh, spanning business systems and digital app development, and driving the company's data strategy programme. Sinead joined from international consultancy and talent business The Lighthouse Company, where as Managing Director she was instrumental in building and developing board level teams across the media and technology spectrum. Prior to that she was the Chief Executive of The Studios at MediaCityUK (now Dock10) where she successfully launched the business, and built and led the teams delivering production and technology services to both the BBC and other independent production companies. She also spent five years as Operations and Technology Director at Virgin Media Television.
Penny Westlake is currently Director of Europe for Interra Systems, the leading global provider of software based QC systems for the media and entertainment industry, and has been involved in media technology for many years across the globe.A long time attender of IBC, mostly as an exhibitor, Penny is also involved with the RTS,having served as Chair of Thames Valley region until recently, and IABM and SMPTE
Dr Nick Lodge has spent his professional career leading the research, development and commercial exploitation of cutting-edge television and advanced media technologies. In this time he has initiated very many award-winning European broadcast technologies and international standards, and has also championed technologies for sensory-impaired media users. Throughout the 1990’s he was head of strategic R&D and international standards for the UK’s entire commercial television sector. Throughout most of the next decade he was Chief Executive of a high-tech wireless media start-up based in Bristol. Currently, Nick runs his own successful technology consultancy, Lodgical Media and is Executive Producer of the Advanced Technology conference stream at IBC. He is a Fellow of the IET and the RTS..
Muki Kulhan is an award-winning Executive Digital Producer with over two decades creating interactive, groundbreaking content for music, entertainment and tech innovation. After 10 years growing MTV International's digital platforms in the 00s, she now runs her own digital production arm Muki-International, creating exclusive content for social, video, VR/MR, apps, web and biz-dev strategies for broadcasters, brands, A-List talent, record labels, agencies and R&D teams. As BBC's Digital Exec for The Voice UK for Series 4 & 5, she produced the first-ever ‘series' of 360°VR experiences for a flagship show, which earned kudos from peers and fans alike. Muki regularly chairs IBC panels and hosts/speaks at scores of other media, TV, tech and VR conferences, and is an active member of Women in XR Europe, BSAC (British Screen Advisory Council), RTS (Royal Television Society) and regularly contributes to Ravensbourne University's mentoring sessions focussing on VR and digital media production.
