After TV presenter Jimmy Savile’s death in 2011, over four decades of his sexual abuse came to light.

The creators of this true crime drama have worked closely with the victims to ensure their story is told in an authentic and respectful way, with four survivors being interviewed on screen alongside re-enactments, with Steve Coogan (I’m Alan Partridge) playing Savile.

Covering the years 1962 to 2011, the series will examine Savile’s web of connections that allowed his covert reign of terror to continue for the entirety of his life in the public eye.

Alongside host and team leader Paddy McGuinness (Take Me Out), a cast of TikTok stars, Pussycat Dolls and footballers are about to take on high-wire walking in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.

The nine celebs moving into a training ground in the Australian Alps include Olympic cyclist Victoria Pendleton, Love Island finalist Chris Hughes and content creators Fats Timbo and GK Barry. Together they will go through a series of mental and physical tasks designed to get them walking 100ft off the ground on a high wire, above a yet to be revealed London landmark.

The Fall of the House of Usher

Mike Flanagan’s newest horror miniseries, The Fall of the House of Usher, adapts Edgar Allan Poe, but it involves a departure from his gothic short story of the same name. In the new Netflix series, Roderick Usher (Bruce Greenwood, Gerald’s Game) is not a recluse living alone with his twin sister Madeline (Mary McDonnell, Major Crimes), he is the father of several illegitimate children and the owner of a corrupt pharmaceutical company.

When Roderick Usher’s children begin dropping like flies at the hands of a shapeshifting demon (Carla Gugino, The Haunting of Hill House) hell-bent on destroying the Usher crime family, he has to face his amoral and questionable past.

Interview With The Vampire

Based off Anne Rice’s 1976 novel of the same name, this adaption sees the titular vampire, Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson, Game of Thrones), and the titular interviewer, journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian, Succession), reunite after meeting in a gay bar 50 years prior.

Through his interview with Molloy, Pointe du Lac recounts his seduction and eventual ‘turning’ by the all-powerful vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid, Lambs of God). The further Molloy gets into Pointe du Lac’s story, the more contradictions he finds, leading him to question the truth.

In the most recent adaption of R.L Stine’s cult classic horror books for 9-14 year olds, Goosebumps will draw on five of his most popular stories.

The series follows five teenagers who discover their parents might have skeletons in their closets – namely that of Harold Biddle, a teenager who died over three decades ago.

When their school’s new English teacher (Justin Long, Barbarian) moves into the ‘old Biddle house’, supernatural happenings mean Harold Biddle might finally get his revenge. And Biddle isn't limiting his targets simply to the people who caused his death, but their children too.
