The Big Connection: Open Doors Scripted TV Special

ScreenSkills and the Royal Television Society Scotland invite you to the second in an exciting series of new networking events. The Big Connection is a relaxed setting that offers attendees the opportunity to connect with some of the most important production companies in Scotland.
Based on ScreenSkills’ popular open doors events, this three-hour session will focus on scripted television facilitating introductions between yourself and talent managers, heads of production and company directors from across the scripted sector. Plus there will be drinks and food along the way!
From comedy to drama, Scotland’s scripted scene is thriving so come and meet the producers, writers, directors and post houses behind some of the most binged box sets produced in Scotland.

Who it's for
Whether you’re brand new, just graduated, have transferable skills or are returning to TV after a break… we would love for you to join us.
It is primarily aimed at aspiring crew wanting to connect with scripted producers and becomes part of the team behind the shows, but if you’re a scripted creative you could also make some useful connections.

This event focusses on scripted TV. Drama, Comedy, Post Production, Directing. If you’re more interested in other areas of television, don’t worry because The Big Connection will return later this year with more networking opportunities.
