RTS London invites you to an exclusive discussion with the Executive Producers of TV’s hottest shows — The Masked Singer and The Masked Dancer — with Daniel Nettleton and Derek McLean.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, next Wednesday’s ‘Who’s That Behind The Mask?’ even has had to be postponed.

The Masked UK series’ have become the most talked-about entertainment shows of recent years. Winner of both an RTS Programmes Award and an International Emmy, The Masked Singer UK became a ratings smash since being adapted from the popular South Korean format. The Masked Dancer UK followed the success of the UK’s favourite guessing game and the second series launches on Saturday 3rd September on ITV; The Masked Singer has also been recommissioned for two further series and will go into production later this year. The combination of world-class celebrity contestants; original elaborate costumes; slick performances and the well-produced reveal has hooked UK viewers.

Featuring stars such as Jason Manford, Natalie Imbruglia, Ne-Yo, Katherine Jenkins, Christopher Dean, and Joss Stone and incredible characters including Robobunny, Bush Baby, and Carwash; the country has been glued to both shows with ratings for The Masked Singer peaking at 10.6 million viewers last year.

The team at Bandicoot Scotland take us backstage to share the secrets of the Saturday night success of The Masked Singer and The Masked Dancer. Find out the inspirations for the incredible characters, the story behind the costume designs, and learn how they keep the identities of the masked celebrities a secret.
