Last year Digital UK and Freeview announced plans to develop a new Freeview-branded connected TV service. Freeview Play, which is due to launch later this year, will give viewers the freedom to choose the programmes they want, when they want.
As a follow up to the networking event we held in October, we (PACT & RTS) are pulling together another event in March in Cambridge. The purpose is to create an event that brings together the production community, freelancers and associated businesses, based in the Eastern region of the UK. This is meant to be a relaxed networking event where we have a chance to discuss the market, the strengths of the region and how we can help to build a supportive network of people who all have a common interest in the industry and in growing and developing the region.
