Join us for a screening of 5Star's brand new prison drama Clink.
Clink is a brand new 10-part drama beginning Monday 15th April at 9pm on Channel 5's dedicated drama channel, 5Star.
Created by LA Productions' Colin McKeown and produced by Donna Molloy, Clink is set in Bridewell Women's Prison and tells the unique, unflinching and heartwarming stories of both the prisoners and staff at this northern penitentiary.
Featuring an incredible ensemble cast including Alicya Eyo, Christine Tremarco, Paul Broughton, Katherine Rose Morley, Lu Corfield and Trudie Goodwin, Clink will deal with hard-hitting issues such as self-harm, mental illness and pregnancy behind bars, as well as highlighting the importance of community, friendship and, ultimately, hope.
The stories in Clink have been dramatised from real-life inmate experiences and the result is an authentic, raw and honest depiction of life on the inside. Directed by Gary Williams, Gillian Kearney, Jodhi May and Anya Camilleri, the showrunner is Sarah Deane, with other episodes written by Esther Wilson, Karen Brown, Tony Schumacher, Vivienne Harvey, Helen Black and Rebecca Manley
Screening of first two episodes and then Q and A.
