Diane Morgan’s comic creation Mandy returns for a festive special in this reworking of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Having dismissed Christmas as a 'con invented by Coca Cola in the 50s', humbug Mandy is visited by three ghosts on her doorstep. Johnny Vegas stars as the Ghost Of Christmas Past, Pearce Quigley (Detectorists) is the Ghost Of Christmas Present and punk poet John Cooper Clarke is the Ghost Of Christmas Yet To Come.

Emily in Paris s2

Netflix

Wednesday

In the first series of Netflix’s culture-clash comedy Emily in Paris, the eponymous Chicago marketing exec Emily (Lily Collins) made the big transatlantic move to take up her dream job at the Parisian firm Savoir. Series two promises more laughs, cringe and couture outfits as Emily bundles her way through ill-fated romances, language barriers and messy nights out with her best friend and now roommate Mindy (Ashley Park).

When Mike (Kiell Smith-Bynoe) and Alison (Charlotte Ritchie) discover a man living in a tent in their garden, Kitty (Lolly Adefope) becomes convinced that Father Christmas has come early to Button House. The ghosts have some predictably unhelpful advice on how to deal with their new visitor, but Mike and Alison soon discover they have more to offer this Christmas than they realised. Jennifer Saunders (Absolutely Fabulous) guest stars as Lady Button’s difficult mother, Lavinia.
