The six-part limited series is based on the novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz, with the adaptation written by David E. Kelley.

Nicole Kidman plays successful therapist Grace Fraser, who leads the privileged life she had always dreamed of with a loving and devoted husband Jonathan (Hugh Grant), and young son Henry (Noah Jupe), who is a student at an elite private school in New York.

One-night Fraser’s whole life falls apart when a tragic death occurs, her husband goes missing and a series of surprise revelations turns the man she thought she knew into a stranger.

Finding herself left alone to deal with the very public disaster, Fraser wishes she had heeded her own advice as she is forced to rebuild a new life for her and her son.

The Undoing will air on Sky Atlantic and Now TV from the 26 October.
