Sky has commissioned a second series of drama series Gangs of London.
Created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery, the first series followed the lives of the Wallace and Dumani families into London’s criminal underworld.
Following the death of gang leader Finn Wallace (Colm Meaney), his son Sean (Joe Cole) takes over the reins of the most powerful crime family in London as he seeks revenge on his father's unknown assassin.
Sean seeks help from allies Ed Dumani (Lucian Msamati) of the Dumani crime family and lowlife Elliot Finch (Sope Dirsu), who's taken a new mysterious interest in the Wallace family, to help him move up the ranks, but the path to revenge leads to a dangerous feud in the crime world.

Zai Bennett, Sky UK’s Managing Director of Content, said: “Not only is Gangs of London Sky’s most binged premiere box-set this year, it’s the biggest original drama launch on Sky Atlantic of the past five years.
“It’s dark, dangerous and we are thrilled it is coming back for a second series. We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome AMC to our gang for Series two alongside the teams at Pulse Films, SISTER and Sky Studios.”
The series is also heading stateside, with the first series premiering in the US this autumn on AMC.
Filming on series two is planned for next year, with the series returning in 2022.
