The Secret World of Emily Brontë

Emily Brontë superfan Lily Cole hosts a one-off documentary, The Secret World of Emily Brontë, exploring the Yorkshire landscape that influenced Brontë’s Wuthering Heights.

Cole also makes her own film in this special, Balls, which reimagines Heathcliff’s early life in Liverpool.

 

Black Lake prequel

Fans of Swedish series Black Lake (Svartsjon) will enjoy the show’s prequel, which follows Minnie, a young mother with a difficult past, as she struggles to regain custody of her daughter and fight her inner demons and other enemies.

Hedda Stiernstedt stars as Minnie, alongside Filip Berg as Johan.

 

Nothing like a Dame

Legendary actors Eileen Atkins, Judi Dench, Maggie Smith and Joan Plowright gather for a unique celebration of their award-winning careers on the stage and screen.

Directed by Roger Michell (Notting Hill), the iconic performers recall their greatest moments in theatre, TV and film, accompanied by a treasure trove of archive footage.
