The high stakes action thriller from writer Joe Barton explores the consequences of what it means to really take charge of your own fate. 

One day, George (Paapa Essiedu) wakes up to discover himself reliving the same day from months ago, fearing he has gone mad. 

All of his recent achievements have been undone, including his accomplishments at work and marriage to the love of his life Sarah (Charly Clive), but only he seems to notice what has happened. 

However, when he meets Archie (Anjli Mohindra) he is recruited into the Lazarus Project and everything makes sense. 

The secret organisation has the ability to turn back time whenever the world is at threat of extinction. Just like George, the members of Lazarus are the few people on Earth who can remember the events that are undone when time is reversed. 

Along with Archie, the aloof Shiv Rudi Dharmalingam and their steely leader Wes (Caroline Quentin), George must do all he can to prevent a global catastrophe. 

He is also on the hunt for the formidable Rebrov (Tom Burke), a wanted criminal determined to detonate a nuclear warhead and destroy the world. 

George finds himself faced with the ultimate dilemma when a freak accident harms someone close to him, but Lazarus won’t let him turn back time to reverse it unless there is a threat to mankind. Now George must decide if he stays loyal to the programme or goes rogue to save the one he loves. 

The Lazarus Project will air on Sky Max and NOW in April 2022.
