The RTS Student Television Awards 2023 entries are now open until Monday 7th November 2022.
The RTS Student Television Awards celebrate the best audiovisual work created by students across the UK at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
New for this year, Drama has been divided into two separate categories – Entertainment and Comedy Drama and Drama. The News and Sport category has also been expanded and renamed Journalism so as to incorporate short reports, sports reports and longer feature pieces. Sustainability has also been updated to Environment and Sustainability, so that entries can now include factual or fictional work relating to the environment.
The ceremony is set to take place in June 2023.
Sinéad Rocks, Managing Director, Nations and Regions at Channel 4 and Chair of the RTS Student Television Awards, said: “I’m delighted to be chairing the fantastic RTS Student Television Awards again this year. The entries we received for the 2022 awards were of such a high calibre and I’m sure we’ll see this replicated with this year’s submissions. The RTS Student Television Awards provide students with a hugely worthwhile opportunity to not only have their talent and successes recognised, but to also get their incredible work in front of some of the top figures within the industry. We encourage all students at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level to enter, and I thoroughly look forward to celebrating the success of the nominees and winners in June next year. Good luck!”
All entries must be from students aged 16 or over enrolled in further education courses or higher education institutions.
All entries must have been made between 1 November 2021 and 31 October 2022, and must be submitted by Monday 7th November 2022 via the online submission form.
