ITV has announced the twelve celebrities going head to head in a televised athletic showdown called The Games.
The line-up includes TV presenter Olivia Attwood, influencer Phoenix Brown, ex-Strictly professional Kevin Clifton, pop star Max George, songwriter Chelcee Grimes, actor Josh Herdman, author and model Christine McGuinness, Coronation Street’s Colson Smith, newsreader Lucrezia Millarini, musician Wes Nelson, Emmerdale’s Rebecca Sarker and actor Ryan Thomas.
Holly Willoughby and Freddie Flintoff will host the games live, while Alex Scott will report trackside and Chris Kamara will commentate.
The six male and six female celebs will compete against one another across several disciplines, from the 100-metre sprint to diving, in the hopes of racking up enough points to top the medals table.
The series will follow the celebrities as they are taught each sport from scratch by some of the UK’s top coaches, before battling it out in the arenas. Only one male champion and one female champion will be crowned.
