U&W have commissioned At Home with Katherine Ryan for a second series.
Over four episodes, the comedian will welcome cameras back into her home as she and husband Bobby Kootstra do their best to raise three children. As if Violet, Fred and Fenna weren’t enough of a handful, Katherine is about to set off on a nationwide tour. Can she and Bobby keep it together without spreading themselves too thin?
Originally called Katherine Ryan: Parental Guidance, the show will once again offer a peak behind the curtain to show the reality of balancing work with kids.
“My family and I are cautiously optimistic about picking up where we left off and inviting cameras back into our busy lives for more love, laughs and unconventional adventure as I embark upon a national stand-up tour with (and sometimes without!) three kids in tow,” Katherine said.
“I am thrilled we are being invited back to enjoy the company of Katherine’s searingly funny, intelligent and bravely honest view on what it takes to juggle life as a modern mother, wife and hugely successful comedian,” said Kirsty Hanson, UKTV senior commissioning editor.
At Home with Katherine Ryan will air on U&W in 2025, when it will also be made available on U. U is the new ‘masterbrand’ uniting UKTV’s channels and streaming service.
