TV chef Gordon Ramsay is starting his own production company, named Studio Ramsay, to produce both scripted and unscripted shows on food-related themes.
Ramsay, famous for programmes The F Word and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, will own the company outright but has already announced a joint venture deal with All3Media to get projects off the ground.
“We really look forward to continuing our relationship with Gordon, working alongside him as he establishes and grows his new production company, Studio Ramsay,” said Jane Turton, CEO of All3Media. “He is a world class talent with a phenomenal record of hit TV series.”
The studio will produce the sorts of reality series Ramsay has become famous for in the UK and the US, as well as scripted programmes based around cooking and food. Studio Ramsay also has a commitment to developing new talent around the world.
“I’m really excited about this new venture, giving our team the opportunity to expand creatively on a global scale,” said Gordon Ramsay.
Ramsay debuted as a television presenter in 1999 on Channel 4's Ramsay's Boiling Point. He celebrated a landmark year in the US in 2015 with the 10th anniversary of the American Hell's Kitchen, and his 500th episode of television for the Fox network.
