Netflix has announced the release date of series three of Sex Education and first look images.
The much-loved comedy series is back once again, following the sexual exploits and general mishaps of the students at Moordale High.
The second series saw Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Maeve’s (Emma Mackey) illicit sex clinic discovered by Otis’ sex therapist mother Jean (Gillian Anderson).
Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) was caught in a love triangle with new student Rahim (Sami Outalbali) and former school bully Adam (Connor Swindells), who was learning to make peace with his sexuality.
Meanwhile, Maeve struggled with her feelings for Otis and found a new friend in troublemaker Isaac (George Robinson).
The first look images for series three show the students of Moordale trade in their own clothes for standardised grey uniforms, complete with ties and blazers.
A new year sees Otis partaking in casual sex, Eric and Adam are navigating life as an official couple and Jean is preparing for the arrival of her baby.
New headteacher Hope (Jemima Kirke) wants to turn Moordale into a pillar of excellence, Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood) connects with feminism, Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling) finds himself with a crush and an important voicemail has still not been discovered.
Series three of Sex Education will start streaming on 17 September.
