Jamie Oliver will host a new teatime cooking show called Jamie: Keep Cooking and Carry On.

In response to our unprecedented times, with so many staying at home, the show will see Jamie Oliver sharing easy-to-follow recipes, tips and hacks to create nutritious meals for the whole family.

Using kitchen staples, Jamie will show viewers how to make the most out of the ingredients they’ve got at home, whatever their budget.

From creative store-cupboard creations, to feasts drawn from frozen food, Jamie will be helping home cooks rustle up some delicious meals using simple ingredients.

For those feeling particularly motivated, Jamie will also be showing viewers how to create essentials such as pasta and bread dough from scratch with things already to hand.

Jamie Oliver commented: “Cooking nutritious meals for yourself and your loved ones has never been more important…  Let's big up those store cupboard and freezer faves and hero recipes you can take lots of ways."

Jamie: Keep Cooking and Carry On starts tonight at 5.30pm on Channel 4.
