Hit HBO Max dating show FBoy Island has been acquired by BBC Three.

Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, the ten-part reality dating competition sees three single women sort the good boys from the bad boys.

Sarah, Nakia and CJ are the three women looking for a serious relationship and are ready to settle down and find a man that really cares about them.

They will have 24 men to choose from, but the twist is that only half of the guys are wanting to form a relationship, while the other half are self-confessed bad boys who are in it solely for the cash prize.

Full of warmth, laughs and twists, the series will ask the question: can you really judge a book by its cover?

The woman will need to use their sleuthing skills to find the genuinely good guys out of the bad apples.

In each episode, the three women will choose which man to go on a date with, and which ones they want to leave the show.

The men that have been chosen to leave will reveal if they are a good guy or a player.

Any bad boys will be sent to ‘Limbro’ and go through group therapy to try and change their lothario ways and the good boys will be rewarded with a stay in the ‘Nice Guy Grotto’.

In the finale, the three women will pick their final three in the hope that they are there to find love and not money.

FBoy Island will air on BBC Three on Wednesday 20 April.
