The BBC has announced the day Industry will be returning for a third series.
The first series introduced viewers to Pierpoint & Co, a leading investment bank that expects nothing less than perfection from its employees. A crop of young starters have to do everything they can to stay ahead.
As if the work wasn’t enough, there’s also the lifestyle. The drugs, sex and drinking prove just as demanding as the never-ending office hours.
Series three will see Pierpoint put everything on so-called ethical investing. Part of their strategy involves Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington, Game of Thrones), a major player in green energy.
Series two focused on the merger between Pierpoint’s offices in New York and London. With the threat of redundancy looming, the young bankers do everything they can to keep themselves safe.
Harper turns to insider trading to stay in a client’s good books, but it isn’t enough. Her boss Eric has previously kept to himself that Harper’s college transcripts are fake, but in series two spies an advantage in spilling the beans. With Harper’s secret out, Eric is able to fire her.
Returning for the third series are Myha'la Herrold (Bodies Bodies Bodies) as Harper and Marisa Abela (Back to Black) as Yasmin. Harry Lawtey (The Letter for the King) returns to play Robert and Ken Leung (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) Eric.
Industry will return on 1 October 2024. Every episode will be available from 6.00am on iPlayer that day, with the first episode airing at 10.40pm on BBC One.
