The BBC has commissioned Luisa Omielan's stand-up show What Would Beyoncé Do?! for BBC Three on Valentine's Day

Teaming up with King Bert Productions, this will be Omielan's first stand-up television debut and it will be filmed in front of a live audience at the Clapham Grand on January 19

She originally debuted this show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has since built up a big following, with critically acclaimed and sell-out shows, such as Am I Right Ladies?!.

Her shows contain themes of female empowerment, but they also tackle issues of body image and the anxiety that sometimes can come with that. She has also gone viral with over 3 million YouTube views speaking about her thigh gap.

Shane Allen, Controller, Comedy Commissioning at the BBC said: "Luisa is a huge star in the making and this show is a real crowd pleaser. It heralds the feature length debut of a major new female comedy force."
