BBC announces adaptation of Le Carré's The Little Drummer Girl

The series is a collaboration between BBC One, AMC and The Ink Factory, who previously worked together on 2016's award-winning spy drama, The Night Manager.

​​Set amidst rising tensions in the Middle East during the 1970s, the show will star Florence Pugh as a young brilliant actress named Charlie, who is preparing for her ultimate role.

Alan Davies' critically-acclaimed chat show will return to Dave with new guests including Melanie C, Sanjeev Baskhar and Dave Johns, to talk all things comedy and entertainment.

The show has had its share of high-profile guests such as Stephen Fry and Sandi Toksvig, but it has also shone a light on new comedians and up-and-coming talent such as Lou Sanders, James Acaster and Romesh Ranganathan. They have all shared stories from their personal life experiences as well as discussing topics such as royalty and bizarre anecdotes.

Peep Show final series to air in November

Channel 4 has announced that the ninth and final season of Peep Show will begin on Wednesday 11 November at 10pm.

The critically-acclaimed comedy is a standout favourite, and stars David Mitchell and Robert Webb as Croydon flatmates Mark and Jez. It has won a spate of awards, including Baftas and a Royal Television Society Award for writers Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain.
