Pedro Pina is a Portuguese-born marketer who has lived and worked outside of Portugal throughout his 30+ year career.
He joined Google in 2013 as Global Client Partner overseeing a team spread around the world dedicated to lead Google’s deep engagement with Europe’s biggest giants in advertising like Unilever, L’Oreal, Nestle, LVMH, VW or BMW among many others.
In July 2021 he was picked to lead the operation of YouTube in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Beyond his day job, Pedro is a global exec sponsor for PRIDE@YouTube, he leads for Google the LGBTQ+ chapter across the region of EMEA and he’s also a member of the Region’s DEI Council.
In 2019, he was named one of the 10 most influential LGBTQ+ executives in the UK by the British LGBTQ+ awards who just in 2023 also named him one of the top 10 most inspirational LGBTQ+ leaders. Also in 2019 he was named the world's top LGBT+ executive role model on the OUTstanding 100 LGBT+ Executive Role Models Global List.
Pedro is a Board Member of OutRight Action International, an Advisory Member for the Outvertising Council in the UK and a member of the Corporate Advisory Board of the Victoria & Albert Museum of Art.
Prior to joining Google, Pedro worked at McCann Worldgroup, France Telecom, Yum, PepsiCo and P&G.
