Maria Kyriacou is Paramount’s President of Broadcast & Studios for International Markets.
Based in London, Maria leads Paramount’s studios and free-to-air businesses for all international markets outside the US. As part of the new and expanded role she took on at the start of 2023, Maria also leads Paramount’s international studios business, overseeing a network of creative hubs around the world focused on producing premium scripted content.
Previously Maria was President, Australia, Israel and UK – and led Paramount’s operations across these leading international markets including all free-to-air, pay and streaming brands. Under her leadership, Paramount successfully launched new SVOD service Paramount+ in Australia in 2021 and in the UK in 2022, and she has also overseen the growth in AVOD platform, Pluto TV in the UK. In her new role Maria continues to have commercial responsibility for Paramount’s TV Media business across UK, Australia and Israel.
Prior to joining Paramount in 2020, Maria was President of International at ITV Studios where she oversaw ITV Studios Global Entertainment. Maria joined ITV Studios from The Walt Disney Company where she was Senior Vice President, Digital Media Distribution EMEA.
Before entering the media world, Maria worked in the Audit and Advisory Services division at Price Waterhouse Coopers.
