Laura Taylor is a scripted development producer at Emanata Studios. She produced the BBC Comedy short Calamity James starring actor Mark Bonnar and Dylan Blore which was nominated for Best TV Comedy at the RTS Scotland Awards and Best Short form at Broadcast Digital Awards in 2024. Her development projects have homes at SKY, BBC Comedy and have been funded by Screen Scotland and the BFI. The past year Laura has been working with Andy and SKY films on the development of a comedy Christmas film.
In 2022 she was selected to be a part of the Edinburgh TV Festival’s Ones to Watch scheme and was mentored by Expectation’s Creative Director of Scripted, Nerys Evans.
Previously Laura worked in talent management and TV production for Tiger Aspect, Shiny Button and Cave Bear Productions working on shows for ITV, UKTV, SKY, BBC and Channel 4.
