Former ITN CEO and Editor-In-Chief
John Hardie served for a decade as CEO and Editor-In-Chief of ITN.
In that time he led the transformation of the company from the point of bankruptcy to the profitable and multi-award winning production company it is today.
He stewarded relaunches of ITV News and Channel Four News, won back the Channel 5 News contract, along the way winning RTS News Programme of the Year six times in ten years.
He also set up ITN Productions which is now a top three Indie producer in own right and was Oscar nominated for Best Documentary in 2017.
Previously John was Executive Vice President of Walt Disney TV EMEA and before that Marketing and Commercial Director of ITV.
