Harry Hampson

Global Chairman - Investment Banking/Corporate & Investment Bank EMEA, J.P. Morgan

Harry Hampson has been at J.P. Morgan since he began his career in 1988 and is currently one of the Global Chairs of Investment Banking and a member of the Executive Committee. 

His current role is focused on managing and developing senior client relationships in the EMEA region. Prior to his current role he was Chairman of Industry Coverage in EMEA and Vice-Chairman of J.P. Morgan Cazenove.

Harry was Head of Industry Coverage for Corporates between 2016-18. Previously he was Head of the Strategic Investor Group in EMEA between 2012-2016.

Harry was Head of TMT advisory in EMEA from 2002 -2012 having previously been responsible for J.P. Morgan's EMEA Media practice between 2000 and 2002, and the EMEA Internet and Digital Media effort between 1999 and 2000.

Between 1997 and 1999, he was Head of Equity Capital Markets and, between 1992 and 1997, he served as Head of the European Equity Syndicate Desk. He has worked on well over 100 IPOs during his time at J.P. Morgan, and many of the transforming transactions in the TMT sectors since 2000.
