Angelos Frangopoulos is CEO of GB News.
A journalist by trade, he joined GB News in 2019 from Sky News Arabia, where he was CEO.
He was previously CEO and managing editor of Sky News Australia for 22 years, building it into the country's leading provider of 24-hour television news services. Angelos started his career in community radio and worked at various television channels, including BSkyB in London, rising through the ranks as a reporter, Chief of Staff, Senior Producer, Chief of Production, and Managing Editor.
He has held numerous board and advisory roles for government organisations, charities, universities, and industry bodies, including the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation, and the Victor Change Cardiac Research Institute.
He was made a Member of the Order of Australia in the Australia Day Honours 2018 for his “significant service to media, higher education, the promotion of journalistic standards, and to the community”.
