Journalist and Presenter
Amol Rajan is a presenter on the Today programme on BBC Radio 4 and the BBC's Media Editor - a position he has held for 6 years.
He was previously Editor of The Independent newspaper, and wrote a book on cricket: Twirlymen: the Unlikely History of Cricket's Greatest Spin Bowlers. His TV documentaries include How To Break Into the Elite and The Princes and the Press; and, for Radio 4, The Decline of the West and The Imperial Inversion of Cricket. He is co-founder of KEY Sessions, a charity, and from Autumn 2023 will be presenter of University Challenge.
