This week offers a grisly return for DCI Cassie Stewart in Unforgettable, a deep dive into teenage desire in Rose Matafeo: Horndog, celebrities jokers in Stand Up and Deliver and a knock-out boxing documentary, Bruno V Tyson. 

Unforgotten

Unforgotten returns for a fourth series with Nicola Walker (The Split) reprising her role as the traumatised detective inspector Cassie Stewart.

Cassie has returned from sick leave to continue with a lead on the horrifying serpentine inquiries. Back at work the cases keep coming: a headless, handless body is discovered in a scrapyard freezer, and the team need to discover who he is.

Rose Matafeo: Horndog

New Zealand comedian Rose Matafeo started stand up at the tender age of 15 and has since won the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show at Edinburgh Festival Fringe and appeared as a contestant on Taskmaster.

Matafeo’s stand up special Horndog, explores the angst of trying to navigate your 20s and the highs and lows of her own teenage years. 

Having kissed nearly ten men in her life, Matafeo recognises that she is a total horndog and wants to understand, what is horniness? 

To find the answer Matafeo talks about, love, obsession and self-esteem.

Stand Up and Deliver

Five celebrities will be plunged into the cutthroat world of stand-up comedy and will be given a comedian mentor to help them find their funny bones and get people laughing.

Broadcaster and Reverend Richard Coles will be paired with David Baddiel, Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder will be coached by Jason Manford, Conservative Party Co-Chairwoman Baroness Sayeeda Warsi will be helped by Nick helm, former Love Islander Curtis Pritchard will be guided by Judi Love and former Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn will be partnered with Zoe Lyons.

It took years for the professional comedians to perfect their craft, but the celebrities will only have a matter of weeks to get the skill and timing right before performing a special stand-up performance in the hopes of being crowned the Stand Up and Deliver champion.

This gripping feature length documentary charts the rivalry between the global boxing titans, and cultural icons, Frank Bruno and Mike Tyson.
