Chef and broadcaster Andi Oliver will be ending her four-series stint as a judge on Great British Menu to take up the role as presenter.
Oliver will be leading the special series Great British Christmas Menu, where former culinary contestants will return to cook up a special festive feast for Britain’s key workers. She will also host the upcoming sixteenth series airing next year.
Comedian Kerry Godliman will be joining judges Matthew Fort and Oliver Peyton on the panel, with a different guest judge joining each week related to the theme of supporting our key workers.
With previous winners and judges such as Tom Aikens, Tommy Banks and Lisa Goodwin-Allen competing against each other, the chefs will be tasked with creating a delicious six-course banquet dedicated to the country’s key workers.
Andi Oliver commented: “I am so completely thrilled and honoured to have been asked to expand my role at Great British Menu! It’s an amazing opportunity to understand the journey that the chefs go through and to watch the evolution of the dishes before they come to judges chamber is a mind blowing revelation.
“It’s such an extraordinary opportunity to work so closely with the top culinary talent in the country - it’s a privilege I am not taking for granted.”
Great British Christmas Menu will air on BBC Two in early December, with series 16 of Great British Menu following in 2021.
