The National Film and Television School’s Head of DFX, John Rowe, reveals how to establish a career working on VFX projects, like Marvel and Star Wars films, His Dark Materials and Game of Thrones, with a special guest who will explain how they achieved it.

Starting your Career in Sport TV
Danielle Neville, Head of Production Services at IMG Studios, hosts a panel discussion with some of the brightest brains to have started their careers as runners or through IMG’s Ignite scheme. They’ll discuss the myriad of entry-level jobs in sports broadcasting and production, how to get yourself noticed, how to push your career progression, how the IMG recruitment schemes can help and which skills and attributes are important to hone of the start of your sport television career. There will be time to take questions at the end, so please come armed to interrogate our panellists!

Join the us for an exciting session on working for BBC Studios Continuing Drama. Hosted by broadcaster and screenwriter Rick Edwards, the team behind EastEnders, Casualty, Holby City, River City, Doctors and Pobol y Cwm will showcase the many entry level jobs around the UK that could propel you into the industry: from Floor Runner to Junior Camera Assistant; Makeup Artist to Wardrobe Assistant.
