Take a look at the celebrities putting on their dancing shoes for this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

Susannah Constantine

Fashion guru Constantine worked with the likes of Giorgio Armani and John Galliano before establishing herself as a style writer, author and TV presenter.

In 2001, she teamed up with Trinny Woodall to front the hit show What Not To Wear, making them household names and leading to two further shows, Trinny & Susannah Undress and Undress the Nation.

She has been a regular on The Oprah Winfrey Show across the pond and has co-authored books What Not To Wear and The Body Shape Bible with Woodall. She has also released her own novel After the Snow.

“I imagine the process to be like witnessing seamstresses in a Paris couture house,” said Constantine. “The costumes are all so beautifully made and I will want to take them all home. To have all those dresses made to measure is a dream come true!”

Constantine was the first celebrity to be voted off the show with dancing partner Anton Du Beke.

Charles Venn

Venn is best known for his role as maverick nurse Jacob Masters on television show Casualty, but this wasn’t his first foray into the world of entertainment.  He has previously appeared in shows such as Footballer’s Wives, Sky One’s Dream Team and EastEnders.

“Some of the costumes certainly do not leave much to the imagination, but they mostly look good I feel,” he said. “I’ll definitely have to do more sit ups though, just to fit in them!”

Venn was the tenth celebrity to be voted off the show with dancing partner Karen Clifton.

Lauren Steadman

Having been born without her lower right arm, double World Champion paratriathlete Steadman is no stranger to competition or overcoming obstacles.

After experiencing her first Paralympic Games in Beijing at the age of 14, Steadman eventually switched from swimming to triathlon after London 2012. She received her first silver medal at Rio 2016, and is currently a five-time European Champion.

“I’m a little bit star struck that I’m actually going to be learning and dancing surrounded by such amazing and inspiring people!” said Steadman. “I’ve always wanted to take part in the show, but now it’s a reality I’m a little nervous!”

Steadman was the eleventh celebrity to be voted off the show with dancing partner AJ Pritchard.

Lee Ryan 

Lee Ryan is the second member of boyband Blue to appear on the show, having taken inspiration from former contestant and bandmate Simon Webbe. “Four years later the man is still doing his ballroom moves on stage," he says. "It changed his life.”

Having sold over 15 million records and with three number one albums while with Blue, Ryan is no stranger to the limelight. Though the band split in 2005, with Ryan moving onto his own solo projects, they did regroup in 2011 to perform at Eurovision and went on to release two further albums after their time on The Big Reunion.

Ryan’s latest venture has been a move to the small screen, as bad-boy Woody Woodward in EastEnders, until he left in June of this year.

 “I'm so excited to be joining this year’s Strictly line-up,” he said. “It is a real honour for me and I can’t wait to get out on the dance floor.”

Ryan was the second celebrity to be voted off the show with dancing partner Nadiya Bychkova.

Seann Walsh

The lusciously-locked comedian Seann Walsh is no stranger to the spotlight, having made his foray into the world of stand-up at the tender age of 12. He’s since toured at venues all over the UK, and is a regular contributor to television shows such as Virtually Famous and Play To The Whistle.

Walsh has also tried his hand at acting, appearing in Sky’s silent comedy Three Kinds of Stupid, as well as Jack Dee’s sitcom Bad Move. He also has his own web series, The Drunk.

“It’s just something that I and no one I know would expect me to do,” he said. “Everyone looks like they’re having so much fun on it. It makes me laugh every time I imagine doing it.”

Walsh was the fifth celebrity to be voted off the show with dancing partner Katya Jones.

Kate Silverton

Journalist and presenter Kate Silverton has been one of the BBC’s principal news anchors for many years, as well as presenting shows such as Panorama, Big Cat Live and My Family at War. She has also reported from the frontline of both Afghanistan and Iraq, to give a glimpse into the first-hand realities of war.

Outside her career in broadcasting, Silverton has a BSc in Psychology which she is using to train as a children’s trauma counsellor.

“I am really looking forward to doing something I have never done before,” she said. “Which is to learn how to dance, take part in an entertainment show and generally immerse myself in a very different world to one I am used to!”

Silverton was the eighth celebrity to be voted off the show with dancing partner Aljaž Škorjanec.

Ashley Roberts

Singer Ashley Roberts is best known for being a member of the pop band The Pussycat Dolls, who sold over 54 million records during their seven year pop reign. 

Since her music career, Roberts has been a presenter on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, acted as a judge on Dancing On Ice and Let It Shine, and has appeared in Coming In America, The Sketch Show, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and The Jump.

“I am beyond excited and grateful to be part of the Strictly family!" she said. "I’m going to put my heart and soul into this new adventure and can’t wait to have fun with the team!"

"Bring on the sequins, glitz and glamour!”

Roberts was among the runner-ups for this year’s Strictly final with dancing partner Pasha Kovalev.

Stacey Dooley 

After working as a shop assistant, Dooley stepped into television with the documentary Blood, Sweat and T-Shirts in 2008, which investigated child exploitation in Indian sweatshops, and has gone on to front her own BBC Three series Stacey Dooley Investigates, exploring issues such as sex trafficking, online drug dealing, child soldiers and ISIS.

The investigative documentary maker won a One World Media Award for her face-to-face interview with an ISIS solider, and her debut book On the Front Line with the Women Who Fight Back made it on to The Sunday Times Bestsellers List. This year, Dooley was awarded an MBE for her services to broadcasting. 

Dooley is hoping to add "dancing genius" to her list of accomplishments this year, saying, “I’m looking forward to throwing myself completely into it all. I wanna get super fit, nail the routines, and live my best life in all the fancy outfits!”

"Typically, work for me is very serious and can be quite hard core so I'm going to soak up the escapism and bathe in the sequins. See you on the dancefloor!”

Dooley was crowned this year’s Strictly champion with dancing partner Kevin Clifton.

Dr Ranj Singh

This Morning's resident doctor Dr Ranj Singh will be the next celebrity to step into the sequins.

Before his television career on ITV shows This Morning and Save Money: Good Health, as well as CBeebies' Get Well Soon, the NHS doctor trained at various London hospitals before becoming a member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health in 2007.

Singh extends his focus on the health of young people to writing; he has published two children's books and regularly writes columns for a variety of UK magazines. 

“I'm so overwhelmed and excited to be part of this wonderful show. It's an absolute dream come true for me!" he said of his new venture.

"I've been a massive fan for so long, and I can't quite believe this is happening, but I'm going to give it my best shot. Anyone that knows me knows that I love a bit of sparkle... so bring on the glitter! I can’t wait!”

Singh was the sixth celebrity to be voted off the show with dancing partner Janette Manrara.

Graeme Swann​

Graeme Swann will be swapping the bat and ball for the ballroom as the England cricket legend is the fifth celebrity announced for this year's series.

Swann is known as one of England's best spinners, having helped bring the Ashes victory home in 2009 and was crowned ECB Cricketer of the Year in 2010.

He retired from the cricket in 2013 following an elbow injury and has since become a commentator for the sport.

Strictly won't be Swann's first experience with dance, having famously helped coin the Sprinkler dance during the 2010-11 Ashes with his fellow England teammates. 

Having retired from the sport in 2013, Swann is keen to get back into the swing of things, “I spent my career enjoying the excitement of performing in front of crowds and cameras," he said.

“It’s a bizarre pressure that makes you sink or swim and I’ve missed it since having to retire from cricket.”

Swann was the ninth celebrity to be voted off the show with dancing partner Oti Mabuse.

Vick Hope

Presenter and radio DJ Vick Hope has presented music shows for 4Music, MTV, ITN, Channel 4 and The Disney Channel, as well as award-winning documentaries That's Not Me and The Slenderman Killings. 

Currently the co-host on Capital FM's breakfast show with Roman Kemp, the new digital reporter for The Voice UK and The Voice Kids, and one of the hosts of Sky One's Carnage, Hope already has a successful career under her belt at only 28 years old.

"I’m so nervous about doing something outside of my comfort zone in front of so many people on live TV, which I could easily screw up," said Hope. "I’ve started genuinely having nightmares about going out in the first week!"

Hope has previously chaired RTS Futures event Breaking into Broadcasting, which saw TV executives reveal tips for breaking into the industry and less common jobs available in television.

Hope was the fourth celebrity to be voted off the show with dancing partner Graziano Di Prima.

Joe Sugg

After starting his own YouTube channel in 2011, influenced by the success of his older sister Zoe (Zoella), online star Joe Sugg has garnered a huge fanbase of over 8 million YouTube subscribers and 5.7 million Instagram followers.

His popular videos see him take on challenges, invent games, prank his friends and perform spot on impressions, as well as vlogs documenting his daily life.

However, his success is not limited online. Sugg is the co-founder of production company Raucous Productions, which produced his film Joe & Caspar Hit the Road with fellow YouTuber Caspar Lee, and has released a trilogy of graphic novels Username: Evie, Username: Regenerated and Username: Uprising. 

As the first YouTuber to set foot on the dance floor, Sugg is nervous to show off his skills on live television, “My knowledge of dance isn't the best, so I'm just going to go into it completely open minded."

“I do feel pretty nervous about [my makeover]. I just hope they have child sizes as I'm tiny!”

Sugg was among the runner-ups for this year’s Strictly final with dancing partner Dianne Buswell.

Danny John-Jules

Londoner Danny John-Jules is best known for his acting credentials as Cat in cult classic Red Dwarf and Officer Dwayne Myers Death in Paradise.

Starting his career as a dancer, John-Jules has appeared in many theatre productions including Cats, Barnum, Carmen Jones, and was one of the original cast of Starlight Express.

The motorcycle enthusiast is keen to make his start on the dancing series, "Having spent the last few months on two wheels motorcycling around South America in pink leathers, I'm absolutely delighted to be getting back on two feet and into something more comfortable like glittery spandex."

John-Jules was the seventh celebrity to be voted off the show with dancing partner Amy Dowden.

Faye Tozer​

With 14 top five singles, three number one albums, 20 million records and seven sold out national arena tours under her belt as part of one of the biggest pop bands in British history, Steps singer Faye Tozer is no stranger to the dance floor.

Steps fame in the nineties and noughties saw the singer travel around the world with hits such as 5,6,7,8 and Stomp, but can she swap the iconic Tragedy dance moves for the Foxtrot? 

“I can’t wait to get in the costumes,” commented Tozer. “The swishy skirts and fabulous fringing encrusted with crystals... It’s a big yes from me!”

As well as a successful career in pop and a reunion tour with Steps in 2011, Faye has performed in shows such as Tell Me on a Sunday, Singing in the Rain and Over the Rainbow.

Tozer was among the runner-ups for this year’s Strictly final with dancing partner Giovanni Pernice.

Katie Piper

Katie Piper is known for her charity work, presenting and campaigning following an acid attack. Piper has inspired through her autobiographies and self-help books, and most notably through her charity work, having founded The Katie Piper Foundation in 2009.

Piper has gone on to raise awareness for fellow victims through her open and honest documentation of her experience, which has led to her special recognition award at The Pride of Britain Awards in 2012.

Her inspiring journey has been shown in her TV work, presenting shows such as Katie: My Beautiful Face, Bodyshockers and Katie Piper's Face to Face. 

“I feel so privileged and excited to be part of my favourite show on TV,” she said. “I already know how much of an amazing experience it will be for me and I can’t wait to show my girls some of my new dance moves!”

Piper was the third celebrity to be voted off the show with dancing partner Gorka Marquez.

The celebs will strut their stuff for returning judges Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood, Dame Darcey Bussell and Shirley Ballas.

There will also be three new dancers joining the show, Italian Latin Champion Graziano Di Prima, Professional South African Latin Champion Johannes Radebe and four-time winner of the Italian Dance Championship Luba Mushtuk.
