How to get on the ladders and avoid the snakes

Following the great success of last year's event, an impressive panel looks at training and advancement strategies to help you get to the next stage in your career.

The session will cover a wide range of career issues, from first steps to managing upwards, from changing genres to coping with disasters. Hear about 'getting in' - where to find jobs and opportunities, and what is 'talent management'? Then how do you stay on the ladder once on it, what makes a producer remember you when recruiting the next time round?

Chair
Nadine Dereza

Speakers include:
Joe Godwin - Director, BBC Academy, and BBC Birmingham

Jude Winstanley - Founder and MD, The Unit List

Arit Eminue - Director, DIVA

Sara Putt - MD, Sara Putt Associates
